Hi Guys, welcome to my blog @ www.miteamshirts.com my personal e-mail and websites www.myteamshirts.co.uk and www.mits-online.co.uk and checkout our GIZMO page and WISH LIST and FUN RELATED  SEXY t-shirts .

 V

Sunday, March 11th United were 2 points behind City and at the end of the day, they were 1 point ahead of City.

United won 2-0 at home to WBA  and City could only draw 2-2 away to Swansea .

Since then United have maintained their lead, but the points gap keeps changing. A couple of games ago it looked nailed on for Uniteds’ 20th Title.

Because of Evertons’ great display at Old Trafford in a 4-4 draw, City are back in with a shout of winning the Title for the first time since the 1967/68 season.

The fact is that if City win tonight they will go above United by a small but significant goal difference, which in itself is worth a point.

I think City are best equipped to win the Barclaycard Premiership because United have a lot of youth but a few fading stars.

If City don’t win the Title , I think Mancini will be another statistic in City’s list of ‘sacked managers’.

Good luck to both teams in THE MOST IMPORTANT MANCHESTER DERBY MATCH FOR DECADES.

I am going to cut you loose now because I am going to my local pub the ‘Prince of WalesChorley to watch the match and soak up the ‘atmosphere’.

So farewell for now. Take care and stay healthy.

Hiya Guys

Before my blog I just want to let Preston    and Blackpool  fans know that we now have their new 2/3 way HOME and AWAY shirts in stock including the red England shirt on the inside and will have photos soon.

Just a few words about the history of my home club Blackburn Rovers and their opponents Liverpool F C.

Blackburn Rovers Football Club  is an English professional association football club based in the town of Blackburn, Lancashire. The team currently competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football Tho languishing in the bottom 3 before this evening game.

The club was established in 1875, becoming a founding member of The Football League in 1888.

They are one of only three clubs to have been both a founder member of the Football League and the Premier League (the others being Aston Villa and Everton).

In 1890 Rovers moved to its permanent home at Ewood Park.

Prior to the formation of the Premier League in 1992, most of the club’s successes were before 1930, when it had gained league and FA Cup trophies on several occasions. Relegation in 1966 was followed by 26 successive seasons of football outside the top flight.

In 1992, Blackburn were promoted to the new Premier League a year after being taken over by local steel baron Jack Walker, who installed Kenny Dalglish as manager.

In 1995, Blackburn became league champions, having spent millions of pounds on players like Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton. However, the title-winning team was quickly split up and, in 1999, the club was relegated.  They were promoted back to the Premier League two years later, just after Jack ‘Uncle Jack’ Walker’s death, and have been in the top flight ever since. During that time they  qualified for the UEFA Cup four times: once as League Cup winners, twice as the Premier League’s sixth-placed team and once via the Intertoto Cup. The 2009–10 season marked the club’s 70th nonconsecutive year in the top flight.

Blackburn are currently one of only four clubs to have won the Premier League, along with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. The club’s Latin motto is “Arte et labore”, the club’s translation of which is “By Skill & Hard Work”. Coincidentally my old school (St Augustine’s, Chorley) motto was the same.

Liverpool Football Club is  an English Premier League football club based in Liverpool, Merseyside. Liverpool has won 18 League titles, the second most in English football, as well as seven FA Cups and a record eight League Cups. Liverpool has also won more European titles than any other English club, with five European Cups, three UEFA Cups and three UEFA Super Cups.

Liverpool was founded in 1892 and admitted into the Football League the following year. The club has played at its home ground, Anfield, since its founding, and the team has played in an all-red home strip since 1964. The most successful period in Liverpool’s history was the 1970s and ’80s, when the club won numerous honours both domestically and in Europe.

The club’s supporters have been involved in two major tragedies. The first was the Heysel Stadium disaster in 1985, in which charging Liverpool fans caused a wall to collapse, killing 39 Juventus supporters. In the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, 96 Liverpool supporters lost their lives due to a crush against perimeter fencing.

Liverpool has long-standing rivalries with city neighbours Everton and with Manchester United. The club’s anthem is “You’ll Never Walk Alone“.

Incidentally the anthem originates from the musical ‘Carousel’ and was sung by Mario Lanza.

I hope it’s a good game and we can move out of the ‘BOTTOM THREE’.

While typing this blog Liverpool have just scored 2 goals inside 2 minutes. BAD NEWS.

Take care

INDIAN CHICKEN FARMERS, VENKY’S R NOT FIT TO OWN BLACKBURN OR ANY FOOTBALL CLUB

Hi Guys

Obviously you’re on my blog @ www.miteamshirts.com .Our website addresses are  www.mits-online.co.uk  or www.myteamshirts.co.uk . Our e-mail address is info@mits-online.co.uk

I would like to know wether you enjoy reading a particular blog or not. The best way you can tell me is by replying and making your comment. I will try to make it easier for you. In the next few lines below you will see some text that you can just COPY and PASTE and put into your REPLY/COMMENT.

Hi Jimbo, I’ts (YOUR NAME) here and I agree/don’t agree with some some of your comments. This is my opinion etc, etc. (YOUR COMMENT).That’s all you have to do. Just delete the words that aren’t relevant in your view.

Right let me get down to saying it as it is, regarding Blackburn Rovers’ of which I have been a supporter for 50 years.

I’ve just watched Blackburn Rovers ‘gift’ 3 points to Man Utd.

This season my ‘beloved’ Rovers team  has to rate with the worst I have seen. I’ve seen Rovers relegated quite a few times over the years and all the teams that have been relegated have been better than the present one and have ALWAYS bounced back. The playing squad is good but the playing ‘tactics’, in my opinion are so wrong.

Whatever has happened to man marking? I harped on about this in a previous blog.

I’ve just watched Rovers ‘gift’ 3 points to Man Utd partly because of poor tactics and some great saves from the United keeper at the end of the first half, when I thought Rovers could have ended the  half 2:1 ahead.

It’s correct for Valencia to be awarded as ‘man of the match’, but any player can look good if he is given the space and time on the ball. Each time he got the ball he had at least 10 yards free space.

I played as an  amateur but always deployed man to man marking.

The tactics are down to the manager and coaching staff. I think they are incompetent in their ideas and tactics.

Why be prepared to soak up pressure from the opposition when we all know that possession and attack is the best form of defence?

Both United goals were developed from the right wing. I was on facebook while watching the match and I commented that if United scored it would be from Uniteds’ right wing. I hated to be proved right this time round. As for my ‘heading’ about Venkys. I’ve never seen how their name is spelt and not interested.

All they want is a foothold in the UK to promote and gain publicity for their ‘business’ whatever the cost. Unfortunately  it’s at the cost of possible  ’relegation’ from the Barclays Premiership for Blackburn Rovers who incidentally are one of the original 12 founding members of the football association which was formed in 1888, tho they date further back to 1875.

‘Uncle Jack’ will be turning in his grave especially to see his own family wring their hands of the club and sell out to an Indian chicken farm family who’s sole interest seems to be to bring Rovers to their knees, cos even that would put them on the business map in the UK.

What’s the saying, any publicity is ‘good publicity’?

If they wish to defend themselves in their actions, or lack of action and ambition by saying they would invest in the ‘club’ then bring it on and lets’s have a forum/discussion with the fans about their views and  plans for Blackburn Rovers’ future.

What have they done to improve Blackburn Rovers? They sacked then manager Sam Allardyce and inserted Sam’s assistant Steve Keane to take over without any proven track record of management when Rovers where in a decent league position.

Steve has done as well as can be expected after the departure of Samba, Neilsen and Jones, all defenders. They have the 2nd worst defence in the Premiership and he has had to play a team partly made up from the academy with little experience, so is it little wonder why they find themselves in the league  position that they are in?

Steves’ hands are firmly tied (infact they’re trussed up like a proverbial chicken) waiting for the axe to fall.

As I understand things, he needs to travel to India once a month for a club/team talk. If he has any sense he will save his airmiles and fly the ‘chicken coop’ at the end of the relegation fight.

I’m deflated by the result so I’ll sign off and wish you all the best until the next time.

Take care

Hi Jimbo, I’ts (YOUR NAME) here and I agree/don’t agree with some some of your comments. This is my opinion etc, etc. (YOUR COMMENT).

That’s all you have to do. Just delete the words that aren’t relevant in your view.

Which half of Manchester is gonna take the Title, blue or red?

It’s been a two horse race for most of the season.

Friday must have been a day of mourning for both clubs and it wasn’t even the Champions League.

I heard some City fans saying, “we’ll pull a one goal deficit back at home, and at least we didn’t lose 2:3 at home”.

Well they shouldn’t be so confident cos Lisbon were the better side and if goalkeeper Joe Hart hadn’t been on his game the return leg would have been a formality.

As for United, I think they are really  gonna struggle to get the right result at Bilbao who have 3 away goals which means United have to win by 2 clear goals.

I think Spanish clubs will win both of the European titles.

At least the Manchester clubs can take some solace by winning their respective matches today (Sunday).

United HAVE to win at home to West Brom to stay in touch with City who would stay top even with a draw at Swansea because of their far superior goal fifference.

My forecast is  Man Utd 3 v 1 West Brom      .

My forecast is  Swansea City 2 v 2 Man City .

I can’t close my blog without saying well done to Bolton  and Blackburn for moving out of the relegation places because of their wins on Saturday.

That’s it for now, so take care til next time

Before I get into my wingeing blog, I’d appreciate your opinion on myteamshirts , latest design, so here it is for you to click on to get a detailed closeup view.

THE INTERNATIONAL MUST HAVE SPORTS SHIRT 2012

We can produce any of the 16 International teams home and away 2-in-1 shirts.

I shud be a clairvoyant and not a blogger.

I mentioned in a previous blog for fans to back ‘old boys’ to score against their old clubs

clubs ie Swansea (Barcelona)? player Scott Sinclair scoring a cracker against Chelsea.

I wonder what his betting odds were?

Chelsea were well rattled in the first half and also in the last 15 minutes with Ashley Cole sent off for a deserved second yellow card and they did well to equalise in the 93rd minute.. They have received 53 yellow cards which is the highest in the Premiership averaging 2 cards a game.

I think their success bubble has burst and they might just manage to gain a UEFA spot at the end of the season but Champions League soccer is out of the question. Watch this space.

Whose gonna stop Man Utd now after an easy 3 points against Stoke City and Man City dropping 3 points against Everton? Both teams level on 54 points and only 6 goals difference in City’s favour divides them.

I watched Everton v Man City match on Sky while watching Swansea v Chelsea and Man Utd v Stoke on my Laptop via a superb FREE Internet website. I can’t disclose to you all on here the site address cos too many loggers might drag the reception down, but if anyone does want the address then reply to my blogg with your e-mail address and I will reply to you with the web address. It’s a brilliant site that televises all sports and even the ESPN channel.

Everythings crossed for Blackburn Rovers getting 3 points tonight from Newcastle Utd and I will be watching them closely.

Anyway after another hectic last day of the transfer window thats all for now from this ‘Old Git’ Jimbo at www.mits-online.co.uk and www.myteamshirts.co.uk

Up And Running!

Blackburn Rovers 3-in-1 Shirt

Been watching this weekend’s football matches and once again the referee’s are causing controversy with dubious decisions. Is it time for DRS (decision referral system) to be introduced?

Would Everton have drawn with Blackburn if DRS was in place because of the handball incident leading up to Everton’s goal?

The Mancunians rule over London this weekend, the matches once again embroiled with controversy. Should Balotelli have been sent off for his kicking of Scott Parker? If he had not been on the pitch he would not have got the penalty from which he scored, so would it have been 2-2 instead of 3-2 for City?

As for United, no-one could expect them to repeat their early season 8-2 drubbing of Arsenal, but they still came away with 3 points and are still hanging onto City’s coat-tails.

Back in our business world the waiting is over! Finally, our protected design is now in the Public Domain under Registration Number 4022450 as certificated by the Intellectual Property Office.

The idea for Miteamshirts originally came to me when I bought an England inside-out football shirt, a good few years ago, from a sports shop in Preston, Lancs, and also from the diagonal stripe across the front of one of the Dutch club’s shirts. Does anyone remember which club this is because I’m having a senior moment?

However, here at Miteamshirts, we decided to go one step further and make ours a three-in-one shirt.

By visiting our website at www.myteamshirts.co.uk or www.mits-online.co.uk you can now view all 20 of our unique customised Premier League inspired fashion t-shirts/football shirts. And we’re not limited just to the Premier League. You can request us to manufacture ANY team shirt. Whether it be football, any league, corporate or local school strips, we can supply these for you. ALL SPORTS are available, from Archery to Volleyball, Basketball to Tennis, Cricket to Squash - CAN WE DO IT? YES WE CAN!!! Bob the Builder ain’t got nothing on us!

Due to copyright restrictions we can’t put the official club names or badges on our site so we have listed them under the team nicknames. BUT we CAN mention them here in this blog! So, for those of you who are interested in purchasing or even just viewing our shirts, the teams currently available, but by no means limited to, are: Arsenal (Gunners/Gooners), Aston Villa (Villans), Blackburn Rovers (Rovers), Bolton Wanderers (Trotters), Chelsea (Pensioners), Everton (Toffees), Fulham (Cottagers), Liverpool (Reds), Manchester City (Blues), Manchester United (Red Devils), Newcastle United ((Magpies), Norwich City (Canaries), Queens Park Rangers (Superhoops/Hoops), Stoke City (Potters), Sunderland (Black Cats), Swansea City (Swans), Tottenham Hotspurs (Spurs/Lilywhites), West Bromwich Albion (Baggies/Throstles), Wigan Athletic (Latics) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves/Dogs).

Let us know what you think of them because your feedback, good or bad, is very valuable to us. We will be very responsive to your feedback because we want to give you the Myteamshirts that you would like to be seen wearing. For example, is the price right? Do you like the design? Would you wear it? Would you play in it???

Please be aware that these shirts are NOT meant to be copies, because we do not believe in counterfeit goods, but they are influenced by the team strips from the Premier League. How close does your Miteamshirt have to be to the your existing club shirt? Please bear in mind that our shirts at Miteamshirts are actually designed as three shirts in one with a Home Strip, Away Strip and an International shirt (of your choice if required) on the inside.

When you decide to purchase one of our football shirts you will have your own individual team shirt that fans of your club and other clubs are still going to recognise. Your team colours will stand out from the crowd and be instantly recogniseable. You wont find any team badges or sponsors logos on our football shirts, due to the minefield which is the copyright and trademarks arena, UNLESS, of course, you personally commission us to supply you with them for your own personal use. Anyhow, we think that our shirts look great without all the paraphernalia and still would be instantly recognisable to any dedicated football fan!

Miteamshirts are not intended to be replacements to the official club shirts, but an alternative, that offers extremely good value for money considering the difficult financial times we are all in. It’s not a question of loyalties, but what will be instantly noticeable is a complete variation from the original shirt designs and you can be one of the first to own one of these amazing three-in-one team shirts.
